Meet The InstructorsClare | Emma | Lisa | Sue | Sam | Sarah I started pole dancing for fun and fitness, I wanted to learn gymnastics but you don’t get adult classes. I had to attend the local lap dancing club as no one else offered pole dancing. I was very intimidated to walk in to the club even though it was closed. The instructor was really nice and gave me a really good grounding to get me started. I think pole dancing is one of the best forms of exercise as it really tones the muscles, which in turn helps to burn body fat. I have been in the fitness industry for over 16 years and have never had anything work so well. I have had great results with women of all ages shapes and sizes some who have gone on to lose 2-3 stone in weight and completely change their lifestyles. I opened Pole 4 Fitness with the aim of changing people’s perceptions about pole dancing. I don’t teach anything that is erotic and I definitely keep my clothes on! Some people are more sensual with their style of dancing and others are not. It’s up to you how you want to interpret the moves, I only ask you to do things that you are comfortable with. Please don’t be worried about trying pole dancing as I’m sure you will be hooked, just like I was, after your first lesson.
EmmaI was Clare’s first client when she opened Pole 4 Fitness. I came pole dancing as I had lost a lot of weight and needed to tone up. I built up lots of confidence and found something I really loved, and decided that I would love to be instructor. So get yourself here, it will really build up your confidence and you will have lots of fun in the process. Don’t ever think you are the wrong shape or age to come pole dancing as we have lots of ladies different age, shapes and sizes who come for lessons and they love it.
LisaI started pole dancing to get back into shape after having my little boy. I had put weight on and had lost a lot a confidence. I have now been pole dancing for two and a half years and I love it. I have lost three stone and feel great. Pole dancing is for every one no matter your age, shape or size. It has the image of been sleazy but it is far from it, it requires strength, flexibility and grace. It is a great way to get fit and get in shape, and you have loads of fun in the process.
SueI am Sue, I'm 41 and a hairdresser. I came pole dancing after losing weight, needed to tone up and seeing as I am not a fan of conventional exercise I thought I would try something different. Here I am two and a half years later, still loving it, still having fun and now teaching it. You're never to old to learn so come and give it a go. |
