What to wearClothingIn order that you get the best grip on the pole we request that you wear shorts and a vest. Some ladies like to wear a short skirt over their shorts. A tee shirt is fine when you first begin but when you start to invert a vest offers the best possible grip. Pole 4 fitness have a range of vest, tee shirts and skirts you can purchase from reception that have our official logo on FootwearNone of the classes are taught in shoes or boots that have a heel on. This is because our safety mats are never lifted up and a heel would damage them. Most people start in bare feet and then purchase some boxing boots from the club. We recommend boxing boots as they offer protection from the pole as well as offering grip. They compliment the sporty feel to our club. Please note if you purchase boxing boots or foot wear that is not endorsed by Pole 4 Fitness we may ask you to remove them if the soles are deemed unsuitableWhat not to wearMoisturiser isn't a pole dancers friend. Please do not apply any products that contain moisturiser including shower gel and fake tan. Not only will you find it impossible to grip the pole you will leave it greasy and everyone else who used the pole afterwards will also find it hard to grip
We request that you remove all jewellery including rings, watches, long necklaces, bracelets and anklets before the class as they can cause damage to the skin and to the poles. |
